Technician II

Assistant Team Leader Trainee for bridge inspection projects. Performs such duties as preparing working drawings or reports, estimates, layouts and arrangements.

Must have ability to work effectively in a team/office setting achieving applicable goals and objectives.

Follows instructions and standard procedures. Techniques/procedures for non-routine work will be outlined by supervisor. Technical adequacy of work reviewed upon completion.

Minimum Requirements: Associates degree in civil engineering technology and expertise with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Minimum Requirements: Associates Degree in CADD and minimum of 3 years experience in highway design.

An Associates or Technical degree is required, Bachelors preferred. Must have strong experience with structures design and detailing, and additional experience with roadway design preferred. Must also have experience in plans production and working with engineering staff. Should be experienced in multiple bridge types and roadway types, and be current in training and continuing education. Texas PE preferred.
